WHO WE ARE
Nick Decker, Principal Consultant
Having spent 15 years working on strategy in the VPS, I understand what works and what doesn't. I set up this business because I wanted to apply what I've learnt across more organisations and help other leaders to achieve their vision.
I have core skillsets in strategy development and communications, which together are a powerful combination to achieve results.
My experiences in setting up new public organisations from scratch, designing recovery and transition responses, and leading policy reform programs have given me perspectives that I'm only too willing to share.
The next frontier of strategy execution and measurement that I'm working on is top to bottom organisational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). This is a methodology that has great potential within the public sector to uplift performance and drive positive cultural change.
With my years at the DPC, various Departments and start-up agencies, I know the ins and outs of getting things done inside government.
I'm an alumni of the ANZSOG Executive Masters program and I draw upon this knowledge every day.
